On December 27, 2020, the second stimulus bill was officially passed.

This new bill gives $284 billion in financial assistance to the Paycheck Protection Program, with $15 billion set aside for live venues, independent movie theaters, and cultural institutions. An additional $20 billion is included for small businesses as part of the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program. Some businesses that did not qualify for the first round may now be eligible.

Check out this informative blog post from WEA member Mark Stevenson’s company, Smart HR Inc., for more information on how your company can take advantage of this second round of the program.
